Odaiba is a man made island in Tokyo with more shopping malls and amusement areas, like arcades and a ferris wheel. On January 5, 2006, the day that I went, there was not much people. Also its expensive to go to Odaiba by train even though its so close to Tokyo.
Also coming here the 2nd time doesn't seem that impressive to me anymore, just more of the same woman's clothing shops and arcades.
Although there is a Toyota Showroom "Mega Web".
The Rainbow Bridge, the main access point to the island.
Me with the Rainbow Bridge in the background. On that day, the weather was changing very rapidly from cloudy to sunny.
For some reason there was a mini version of Statue of Liberty there.
The futuristic sci-fi looking Fuji TV Building and the apartments and malls around it.
GT4 Simulator @ Toyota MegaWeb (I played this and it was awesome).
Toyota Prius Hybrid Synergy Drive Engine on display at Toyota MegaWeb.
The battery for the Prius.
The car used in the (crappy) Initial D Movie:
One last look at the Tokyo waterfront before heading back.

Nice pics, I don't remember if I went to the Toyota Showroom you went to, could be the same one. I want to try that GT4 simulator! And even if the Initial D live action movie was not very good, the car scenes were genuine and sweet.
that view is really nice. looks like a futuristic NY hehe.
however i really like the pics of the initial d stands and ae86. the gt4 simulator looks sweet.

That Initial-D car is supposed to be a racing car? I like the cars from the Fast and the Furious more.
That GT4 simulator looks awesome! It looks like it moves when you're in turns and stuff. You should keep posting pictures of cool arcade machines that we don't have over here yet.

I wish Toyota could re-release the Corolla GTS here so I could drive around in a "Tofu-car" and be a poser.
